The Catholic Schools Foundation recently hosted its 30th annual Inner-City Scholarship Fund Gala. This year, in light of the COVID-19 crisis, the event was presented virtually. The annual ICSF Gala hosted over 1,000 attendees and raised over $3 million to provide scholarships for in-need students to attend Catholic schools in Greater Boston.
With the help of CSF’s media sponsor, WCVB Channel 5 and other generous supporters, the virtual event celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Catholic Schools Foundation and honor Bank of America. Bank of America has been a dedicated partner of the foundation’s Inner-City Scholarship Fund for the last three decades.
CEO, president and Chairman of Abiomed, Mike Minogue, chaired the virtual event. St.Joseph’s Preparatory School student and CSF Scholar Aisha Veras were this year’s program speakers. St. Mary’s High School, Lynn student and America’s Got Talent semi-finalist Amanda Mena returned as this year’s program performer.
